2011 TEXAS BLUESFEST-CORPUS CHRISTI: The Texas Bluesfest Music Series will take place on March 20, 2011, from 12 pm til 8 pm, SPRING BREAK WEEKEND, at The Outdoor Music Grounds @ The Mansions Royale, located on 8001 South Padre Island  Drive. Preliminary Artists scheduled to appear are  The Deadbeats, Smokin' Waters Band, Tubie & The Touchtones, Andy McIntyre & Primal Groove, and Brenda Guy.  This concert is FREE to the public with easy access for those visiting South Padre Island Beach via South Padre Island Drive

This year's concert will benefit the Junior Roland Foundation for Cancer

The 2nd Annual Texas Bluesfest-Corpus Christi, along with AMA Music Group, is committed to organizations that support the fight against cancer, along with many other causes that help promote philanthropy. The Junior Roland Cancer Foundation, has been established, In memory of Mr. William Roland Jr., who was deeply respected in the community, honored his friends, and deeply loved his family. This Foundation promises to continue to support those who's lives are affected by this terrible disease.
